Last week, we learned that Kendrick Lamar was at the helm of the soundtrack for Marvel's upcoming Black Panther film, and now, a new TV spot has teased a collaboration between Lamar and Vince Staples from that very soundtrack.
The untitled song appeared in an ad for the film that aired last night (January 8) during the College Football Playoff National Championship — where Lamar was also the halftime show headliner.
At the end of his set, Lamar gave a shout-out to "Black Panther" before the movie commercial kicked in. In addition to unveiling additional scenes from the upcoming superhero flick, the clip also unveiled snippets of a new track featuring vocals by both Lamar and Staples.
Its title is currently unknown, but the song follows up Lamar's SZA collaboration "All the Stars" which also appears on the soundtrack.
Black Panther hits theatres on February 16; Black Panther: The Album arrives on February 9, and is available for pre-order via Umusic.
