Former Woods member Kevin Morby released his album Still Life last fall though Woodsist, and now he's signed to Dead Oceans. But before he releases a 2016 LP through his new label, Morby has revisited Still Life for a new video.
The video for "Parade" has a low-key vibe to match the wistful, vintage-sounding rock song. Directed by Elise Tyler, it's a peaceful portrait of big-city life, as we see a string of shots documenting a day spent in New York.
Tyler said in a statement, "The process was a complete collaboration with Kevin. He wanted to document the people and places that make up his New York, and I had the honour to capture it for him. I wanted to feature the quieter places and moments that can sometimes get lost in the noise of the city, which I think also reflects Kevin's nature as an artist and individual."
