Kids Like Us

Kids Like Us are a thrash-punk "skate-hate” band hailing from Tallahassee, Florida. They seem to be very young and all about skateboarding, swearing and being mad at nothing and everything in particular. Their mission might be summed up as "drinking coke and kicking ass,” and the music is original-sounding hardcore with decent riffage and angry shouty vocals, and it’s quite catchy in parts. I wouldn’t want to have to deal with these pests and their damnable wheelie-boards, if I was a security guard. Oh, and the artwork on this album is something any self-respecting skate-punk band would envy, a full colour cartoon pull-out featuring an assortment of your favourite movie-time monsters tearing a city apart. Awesome.
