Las Vegas rockers the Killers have leaked a few more details about their up-and-coming third album. Heres what theyve told us so far:
The album will be called Day & Age.
It will be released November 25 via Island Records.
The LP was recorded in Las Vegas and London, and produced by Les Rythmes Digitales Stuart Price (aka Jacques Lu Cont), who produced the previous Killers tracks "Leave the Bourbon on the Shelf," "Sweet Talk" and a "Mr. Brightside remix.
The record will be preceded by the single "Human.
Day & Age will be the Killers first album since 2006s Sams Town.
A full tracklisting for Day & Age has not yet been confirmed but, along with "Human, the following tracks are believed to be on the album: "Losing Touch, "I Cant Stay, "Joyride, "Dustland Fairytale, "Spaceman, "Goodnight, Travel Well and "Neon Bible.
What vocalist Brandon Flowers had to say about the album to Rolling Stone: "Everything is at stake on this album. Everything. I live through these songs. People make such a big deal about the second album: Do or die. But I feel like the pressure to produce something great will always be there. Its our job, after all... We learned that you cant please everyone, but weve got faith in what we do, faith in our fans and faith in the soon-to-be-converted.
In addition to the album, the band plan to release their third Christmas single, a collaboration with Elton John called "Joseph, Better You Than Me."
