If you've read our latest review of the Kills' live show, you already know just how magnetic and energized singer Alison Mosshart and guitarist James Hince can be on stage. It comes as exciting news, then, that the band have filmed one of their gigs for a live concert film to be released in 2012.
In an update on their official website, the band wrote, "A bunch of friends and fans filmed our second show at L'Olympia in Paris for us." The performance took place just a couple weeks ago, on November 13, and included backing from the band's own Black Rooster Drum Corps and Choir.
The band have shared a new trailer for the film, which was filmed and edited by Gaelle Dubois and Julie Perrono. Watch the three-minute clip below. It shows the outfit playing "Future Starts Slow" from this year's Blood Pressures.
The trailer was posted on the Domino Records YouTube account, so that may mean the imprint will give us a DVD release next year. Stay tuned for more updates.
