So the Kills have finally tracked down that missing tour bus but oddly enough, not the driver that goes with it. According to the Kills label, Domino, the bus was spotted in L.A. by a fan who then notified the authorities and the band. All the Kills belongings were still onboard but so far no one has seen or head from driver Brian Berkenkemper since he and the vehicle went missing on September 26.
Berkenkemper was originally on his way to go get some new tires for the bus in L.A. before meeting back up with the band in Austin. His phone has been off since that afternoon and the FBI has been brought in to help search for him throughout the U.S. and Mexico.
If you have any word on his whereabouts or information about perhaps the strangest tour mishap of the year, youre urged to contact the police, as well as the Kills. The band still dont know if their driver is hurt, dead or simply a foiled thief.
