Australian psych masters King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard had a ridiculously prolific year, but they aren't done just yet. Following a whopping four LPs released in 2017, the band have released a string of singles in recent weeks — presumably from their promised fifth album — and another pair has just arrived.
The latest track is titled "The Last Oasis," and it's a totally chilled-out psych-pop respite from winter for listeners in the Northern Hemisphere. The band also recently shared another new one called "Greenhouse Heat Death."
Give them both a spin below.
The band have yet to share full details for their expected fifth album of 2017, but if and when it does arrive, the record will follow the previously released Flying Microtonal Banana, Murder of the Universe, Sketches of Brunswick East and Polygondwanaland.
On top of all that, King Gizzard have confirmed a new split 7-inch with Mild High Club featuring both bands' renditions of the song "Rolling Stoned." That's due out on January 18 via Stones Throw.
