As reported last week, Montreal-bred garage rocker King Khan has lined up a new collection called The King Khan Experience. We already heard new numbers "Come Levitate With Me" and "I Got Love," but Scion is now offering the entire nine song affair practically for free.
For the price of an e-mail, you can download the psychedelic set, which strings warbling organs, jazz flute and other heady touches to Khan's regular party swagger. Definite highlights include his deadpan, Hendrixian delivery on the sloppy, wah-wah guitar wailer "Are You Serious?", a Jay Reatard cover sung in German and the tripped-out banjo drone track "Keep It Simple Stupid." Fittingly, the latter sneaks in a Scion plug: "Buy yourself a brand new car."
