Good news for fans of Montreal-born rock revivalist King Khan - the man has apparently recovered from his recent break-up fiasco with fellow garage rock wildman Mark "BBQ" Sultan and will be hitting the road with King Khan and the Shrines for some North American touring this fall.
The tour will feature enough '60s-influenced psych/garage rock to keep fans of any of Khan's various musical outlets happy. Hopefully, the band will make it through the tour instead of ending up in jail, so all the cities, including Toronto and Montreal, on the scheduled ten-date run can have a chance to check out the live spectacle.
King Khan and the Shrines' last release was 2008's best-of The Supreme Genius of King Khan and the Shrines, which came out on Vice Records.
Tour dates:
10/3 St. Louis, MO - 2720 Cherokee
10/4 Minneapolis, MN - Triple Rock Social Club
10/5 Madison, WI - Annxex
10/6 Chicago, IL - Bottom Lounge
10/8 Toronto, ON - Lee's Palace
10/9 Montreal, QC - Cabaret Mile End
10/12 Providence, RI - The Met
10/13 Boston, MA - Royale
10/15 New York, NY - Santo's Party House
10/16 Brooklyn, NY - Bell House
