Last year, garage rocker King Tuff (a.k.a. Kyle Thomas) reissued his excellent debut LP Was Dead. The year before that, he released his self-titled Sub Pop debut. In keeping with that album-a-year schedule, he's announced another new full-length.
The new release is called Black Moon Spell and features 14 more anthemic garage rock/power-pop anthems from the artist. It was produced by Bobby Harlow and includes performances from King Tuff regulars Magic Jake and Old Gary, as well as Ty Segall, who drums on the album's title track.
Sub Pop will issue Black Moon Spell on September 23 in North America, and a day before worldwide. The album's four-minute pop jam "Eyes of the Muse" can be streamed below.
In addition, King Tuff and co. will embark on a lengthy tour that includes stops in Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver. Peep the itinerary below.
