Sechelt, BC's Kinnie Starr has never shied away from taking on different roles — from singer and songwriter to producer and rapper to poet and provocateur — and she puts them all on display her forthcoming LP From Far Away. The album is out on September 30 through Aporia Records, but you can watch the new video for lead single "Summer Day" right now.
The clip accompanies the bouncy ode to summer fun and features footage from both the studio and scenic shots of forests and sea. Add in some blurred-out visual effects, a few filters and rapid-cut shots, and it's an entertaining view for sure.
