The fifth full-length album from these Brazilian death metallers is their best yet. Chock full of blast beats, the band plays at full speed throughout, delivering a brutal death metal album that manages to combine technical playing with a straightforward approach. While their previous album was a bit repetitive, this one manages to deliver a different kind of brutality with each song. The songwriting is more diverse, although it is always well within the boundaries of the genre: this is a step forward for the group. Also worth mentioning is the excellent, crystal clear and very heavy production, which manages to bring the sound of the band to a new level. Long-time fans will be delighted with this new effort and death metal fans around the globe that were not believers previously will be pleasantly surprised.
