Savannah, GA experimental crust metallers Kylesa have signed with Season of Mist and are already hard at work on their first album for their new label home.
The band, who were previously with Prosthetic Records, have started writing their follow-up to their last full-length effort, 2009's Static Tensions, and a tentative late 2010 release date is slated for the yet-to-be-titled disc.
It sounds as if fans of the band's ever-evolving sound have lots to look forward to, judging by how much time they're putting into this new disc. The band said in a statement that they have been spending "the better part of each day since January" writing for the new record, and will be recording their new album from May to July.
As well as spending all that time writing new material, the band are currently keeping busy touring in Europe.
