Just moments after tying Glenn Close for Best Actress at the Critics Choice Awards, Lady Gaga left the ceremony to say goodbye to her dying horse.
The singer and A Star Is Born actress shared a message on Twitter, explaining that she rushed to be by her animal's side immediately following the awards show.
Named Arabella, Gaga revealed that the horse's moniker means "yield to prayer," and claimed that "our souls and spirits were one."
She closed out the heartfelt tribute with a line from the Joanne title track: "Girl, where do you think you're goin'?"
