Laibach

Laibach returns to familiar ground with the follow-up to their 2004 DVD release. Not only is the cover art of this new collection similar, the format is as well. 2 is essentially a 12-track live concert recording interspersed with related visual images and snippets from the song's actual videos. The footage was recorded during their "Occupied Europe Nato" tour in 1994-1995 at a show in Ljubljana, Slovenia on October 26, 1995 and is prefaced by a brief introduction about the political events in Europe that inspired the album and continued during the duration of the tour. The DVD also contains an intriguing documentary titled "A Film from Slovenia," that's less about the place (Slovenia) and more a look at the history of the band, its doctrine and its political activism.
