As previously reported, Lana Del Rey teamed up with Tim Burton to pen a couple of tunes for the director's upcoming film Big Eyes.
Earlier this week we heard a snippet of the movie's title track, but now the full version of "Big Eyes" and closing credits track "I Can Fly" have both emerged online.
"Big Eyes" is an eerie, orchestral number featuring the singer's trademark melancholic delivery, while "I Can Fly" is a bit livelier, featuring rolling drums and a surprisingly optimistic-sounding Del Rey.
Big Eyes tells the story of artist Margaret Keane, who was known for her paintings of children with abnormally oversized eyes and her ex-husband Walter, who took credit for her work. The film is out on December 25, but you can listen to Del Rey's musical contributions right now (thanks to Stereogum).
