Laura Marling Books North American Summer Tour

BY Alex HudsonPublished Mar 16, 2015

This week, Laura Marling is in the U.S. for a few shows at South by Southwest, and although she will returning Europe in the spring, the English singer-songwriter has now announced plans to come back to our continent in the summer.

The North American trip is a relatively brief one, consisting of seven shows in late July and early August. In that time, she will make two Canadian appearances: July 27 in Montreal and the day after in Toronto. At these gigs, Marling will be joined by a full band.

See the North American schedule below. Tickets for these summer shows (with the exception of the Newport Folk Festival) go on sale this Friday (March 20). For Marling's full international itinerary, check her website.

These shows are in support of Marling's new album Short Movie, which arrives on March 24 through Ribbon Music/Virgin EMI.
