Former Junkhouse leader (and current Blackie and the Rodeo Kings member) Tom Wilson is back with another album as Lee Harvey Osmond, and with Beautiful Scars due on April 7 through Latent Recordings, he has shared a video for the track "Blue Moon Drive."
As Wilson purrs in a deep baritone on this slow, jazzy lounge ballad, the video plays off the seductive atmosphere by showing vintage-style cartoons of exotic dancers and leering, animalistic men. The end result is more creepy than it is sexy, particularly thanks to the juxtaposition of spooky music and playful animations.
