Lee Ranaldo & the Dust have been promoting their new album Last Night on Earth, and last night (December 12), the band swung by Conan to perform "Lecce, Leaving."
The performance finds the Sonic Youth guitarist strumming some unusual, thumb-fretted chords while backed by bandmates including Sonic Youth drummer Steve Shelley. They do a good job of conveying the song, which is an upbeat alt-rock number with lots of overdriven six-string work. Check it out below.
