Lenny Kravitz's penis has been in the news all week, and he's not happy about it. Following a litany of NSFW pics and video posts of the rocker accidentally letting little Lenny fly free during an onstage wardrobe malfunction in Sweden, he's having his legal team look into a "breach of human rights."
The accidental flashing took place onstage at Stockholm's Gröna Lund theme park on Monday (August 3), with Kravitz's leather pants having blown out during a double knee-bend maneuver. Though it was a split-second snafu, the skin-revealing incident was immediately pasted onto social media sites. That'd be a blurred-out version of the offending image up above.
Following the original photo and video posts, people started making a bunch of memes.
Kravitz had initially joked about the incident, which he called "Penisgate," on Twitter. There, he posted a photo of a playful text from Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler that read, "Dude… No underwear and pierced… You never showed me that shit." Now, however, the jokes have apparently gone too far, as Kravitz has got his lawyers exploring legal options.
According to Metro [via NME], his legal team are investigating "clients' copyright, human rights, right-of-publicity and performer's rights." Some of the videos capturing Kravitz's unplanned dangling have reportedly been pulled from YouTube over copyright claims, but some crafty freedom-fliers have worked their way around the complaint.
Though it's looking like the public guffawing over Kravitz's privates has reached its end, as the singer once sang, baby, "It Ain't Over 'til It's Over."
