Leonard Cohen's posthumous Thanks for the Dance is once again getting treated to a new set of visuals. This time, those come for the album's title track.

The clip was helmed by London-based photographer Harley Weir, who was invited by NOWNESS to share her artistic interpretation of "Thanks for the Dance."

"I'm a huge fan of Leonard Cohen," said Weir in a statement. "His lyrics are so raw and yet so warm. I am honoured to be a part of his legacy."

A press release goes on to explain that "Weir's lyrical tapestry weaves together visual totems for birth, growth and death through which American actress Rowan Blanchard (Girl Meets World/The Goldbergs) plays a bride caught between the pain of transition and the promise of rebirth."

The video also features the U.K.'s Lily Cole, and you can watch the artistically driven results below.

As previously reported, Thanks for the Dance is nominated for Adult Alternative Album of the Year at the 2020 Juno Awards. The 49th Juno Awards will take place on March 15 in Saskatoon and broadcast live on CBC.
