Liam Gallagher Chides Noel for "Brown Nosing" U2

BY Calum SlingerlandPublished Jan 9, 2017

Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds were named as one of the supporting acts on U2's upcoming 30th anniversary tour for The Joshua Tree today (January 9). Unsurprisingly, Noel's brother Liam had something to say about it.

In adding his two cents on Twitter, the younger Gallagher remarked: "I see all that brown nosing is finally starting to pay off. NO SHAME."

In another unsurprising development, many are taking the comment as another jab at his former Oasis bandmate and sibling.

If anything should bring the Gallagher brothers back together, it's their love of the Irish arena rockers. Noel has described playing alongside U2 as "a dream come true," while Liam called a 2001 live performance "one of the greatest performances I've ever seen."

At the end of the day, it's just another log on the fire that is their never-ending beef, which we anticipate will keep burning bright clean through 2017. Find Liam's tweet below and brush up on your own badmouthing skills with our Noel Gallagher Insult Generator.
