Lightning Bolt Unveil North American Tour

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Jun 20, 2012

It's been almost three years since playfully abrasive two-piece Lightning Bolt delivered their last sonic assault, Earthly Delights. While it's unclear if the pair of Brians (drummer Chippendale and bassist Gibson) have any more deceptively poppy blasts up their sleeves at the moment, the celebrated noise rockers will be hitting the road on a North American tour later this summer.

The Rhode Island outfit will arrive in Atlanta, GA for the tour opener, scheduled at the city's Goat Farm on August 24, and will mostly focus on travelling across the U.S. There is, however, one Canadian date to note, which will take place at Vancouver's Fortune Sound Club September 7.
