A few months ago, Lil Wayne was a bit salty that he wasn't chosen to perform at the Super Bowl Halftime Show in his native New Orleans. Though the tides have turned since then, Tunechi has shared he won't join Kendrick Lamar as a guest on stage on Sunday (February 9).

"Y'all know I'm not gonna be there this week, which means I guess there's a seat to fill," Weezy confirmed in a video. However, it seems he has something up his sleeve for tomorrow: "Shout out to New Orleans, but I've been working on something very special. I got something exciting coming for you, Thursday, the sixth. Until then, I'm just chilling."

Despite Lil Wayne's perceived Super Bowl snub — and callout on Lamar's "wacced out murals" — he cleared the air on The Skip Bayless Show in December, saying, "I've spoken to [Lamar], and I wished him all the best, and I told him he better kill it."

So far, the only special guest confirmed for Lamar's Halftime performance is SZA
