The folks over at Saturday Night Live have been strumming up uncharacteristically high amounts of buzz over the last week for their controversial decision to bring Elon Musk in to host this weekend's episode. Snuffing out some of the flames from that is now the show's newly announced end-of-season hosts and musical guests.
Olivia Rodrigo will serve as SNL's musical guest on May 15 when Keegan Michael-Key will host. On May 22, Lil Nas X will then join The Queen's Gambit star Anya Taylor-Joy, who host the night.
Lil Nas X has already promised to perform his recent viral hit single "MONTERO (Call Me by Your Name)" in a recent tweet — so we're expecting a stripper pole to hell to be worked into the SNL stage somehow, as well as jokes about his botched Nike merch. He also promised to perform another new song, which has so far yet to be named.
Presumably, Rodrigo will offer up a performance of her massive 2021 hit "drivers license," though the artist has yet to offer any hints about the gig.
