Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds

'Live in L.A.' (full concert video)

Last night (February 21), Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds celebrated their newly released 15th LP Push the Sky Away with a live performance of the album at the Fonda Theatre in L.A., but in case you missed out on the broadcast, it's streaming in full for the next day.

The concert found Cave and co. joined by a full kid's choir and an extra string session, which heightened the dreaminess of new songs like "Wide Lovely Eyes," the magnificent "Jubilee Street" and its meta-companion "Finishing Jubilee Street."

After they wrapped up the full-LP performance, the expanded lineup ripped into classic cuts "From Her to Eternity" and "O Children." After the kiddies were sent to bed, the Seeds proper let into a harrowing runthrough of "The Mercy Seat" and an aggressive finale of the lewd and legendary "Stagger Lee."

The stream will be up until Saturday (February 23) though Rockfeedback, who presented the performance, wrote that "a Director's Cut will be available very soon."
