Prank-rappin' funny guys the Lonely Island are at it again. The Saturday Night Live stars are releasing a new disc this spring titled Turtleneck and Chain, the follow-up to their hilarious 2009 debut Incredibad. Their first platter featured a ton of memorable, lusciously produced yet lyrically juvenile gems like "Jizz in My Pants" and "I'm on a Boat," and the guys are hoping their sophomore set keeps the laugh track rolling.
While a tracklisting and cover art have yet to appear, Turtleneck and Chain is due out May 10 via Universal Republic. While not much else is known about the set, the trio of SNL cast members Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone have been unleashing twisted tunes all season.
Remember "I Just Had Sex" with longtime collaborator Akon? Or did you catch the supremely bizarre "The Creep," which had Young Money princess Nicki Minaj sneaking in a verse, not to mention an eerie intro courtesy of John Waters?
There's no firm word on whether those tracks will make an appearance on the new album, but it's likely a safe bet they will be included.
Thanks to Direct Current for the tip.
