Loraine James Readies New Album as Whatever the Weather

Loraine James has announced a new album under alias Whatever the Weather. The North London producer will share the self-titled effort on April 8 via Ghostly International.

The 11-track Whatever the Weather was mastered by Telefon Tel Aviv's Josh Eustis, and is said to find James embracing keyboard improvisation and vocal experimentation in contrast to the club leanings of her past records.

"17°C" is the first of the temperature-titled album tracks to arrive, and you can hear it alongside a Michael Reisinger-directed video below.

Last year, James released sophomore album Reflection, and contributed to Jessy Lanza's DJ-Kicks mix.
