Lord Dying

The sludge is practically oozing from my speakers. Lord Dying's debut album, Summon the Faithless, proves that one can never have too much distortion slathered onto the six strings. Trying to find their own path in the shadows of High on Fire and Mastodon, Lord Dying have presented an album that displays their absolute potential. The whole album generates this inherent groove that is incredible infectious. "Greed is Your Horse" and "Descend Into External" are two particular heavy tracks where you'll be especially prone to twitching and headbanging. Summon the Faithless is 40 minutes of raw energy and limitless potential. Recalling Mastodon's debut, Summon the Faithless is a beacon of greater things to come from Lord Dying.
