Today (July 9) marks the release of Louise Burns's sophomore solo album, The Midnight Mass, and now the Gold & Youth member has shared a video for the album cut "Emeralds Shatter."
The clip taps into the '80s-steeped mystery of the synth-driven music. It's an extremely soft-focus affair that finds Burns and a pair of backup singers doing slow-motion dances and lip syncing on a dramatically backlit soundstage. The video was directed by Catherine Lutes.
The Midnight Mass is out through Light Organ Records. Read our review of the album here, and check out our interview with Burns about the disc here.
