Beach Boys genius Brian Wilson has had two sides of his life examined in the biopic Love & Mercy. After opening at TIFF last year to mixed reviews, the film will soon be available to the general public. Following a minute-long teaser earlier this year, its arrival is preceded by a longer trailer.
The two-and-a-half-minute clip further demonstrates the scope of the film, which pairs Wilson's early life (as performed by Paul Dano) with his latter years (where he's portrayed by John Cusack). In addition, the trailer prominently features co-stars Elizabeth Banks (as Melinda Ledbetter) and Paul Giamatti (as Dr. Eugene Landy).
Watch the trailer below. The film will arrive in cinemas on June 5.
