High school students, you might want to hide this one from your English teacher. Canada alt-rockers the Lowest of the Low will be re-releasing their beloved 1991 album, Shakespeare My Butt, on November 23 via Pheromone Recordings.

The standard album is already 17 tracks and over a hour long, but the deluxe edition will come expanded by a 45-minute documentary called LowRoads 91-08. According to a press release, the DVD "chronicles the Low's history and is loaded with previously unreleased live footage, interviews and an original soundtrack by Ron Hawkins."

The reissue will come housed in a six-panel digipak and includes a booklet containing commentary by the Weakerthans' John K. Sampson, essays by The Edge 102.1's Dave Bookman, and more. The album was remastered by Tim Branton at João Carvalho Mastering. See a trailer for the reissue at the bottom of the page.

To celebrate the release, the Lowest of the Low will play the entire album during two shows at Toronto's Lee's Palace on December 3 and 4. Tickets go on sale on Friday (October 15) at Ticketmaster.
