Australian folk unit Luluc have given up some more sweet and subtle sounds from their impending Sub Pop debut, Passerby. Ahead of the album's July 15 street date, you can stream the low-key "Small Window."
While the track features wonderfully playful, minimalist piano plinks and slim guitar strums, it's Zoë Randell who takes control with her shushed hums and longing lines that have her reminiscing about "those I love far from here." A light rumble of drums and crashing cymbals bring the volume up a smidge, but never threaten to undercut the gentle approach of the arrangement.
Take a moment from your busy day, press play down below and let the pensive single act as your soundtrack as you gaze outside a small window of your own.
