Lydia Ainsworth's bedroom-and-basement-crafted Right From Real Part I EP for Arbutus Records is out today (June 10), and the artist is celebrating by unveiling a finely choreographed video for the set's danceable electro-pop single "Malachite."
Set in a warehouse, the video has a trio of b-girls in matching bandanas and boots working their way through a routine heavy on illuminated jazz hand movements. In addition to the Mummenschanz-worthy performance from the threesome, a fourth dancer sporting a busted-open straightjacket gets wild as well.
