After taking listeners through the Phantom Forest last year, Lydia Ainsworth has returned with a new single.
"Forever," as the Toronto singer-songwriter explains in a press release, concerns "an attempt at astral projection in order to be close to a loved one who is far away." If you're holed up solo in isolation, you can try a little astral projection of your own after hitting play below.
As Ainsworth shared on Instagram, the single's cover art features a painting done by her mother. "Thought it might help cheer at least one person up rn," she said of the track. "Sending this out to anyone in need of a hug! An astral hug from me to you!"
At present, "Forever" is available for purchase through Bandcamp, and will soon arrive on streaming services.
