Lykke Li Recruits Beck, Mike D to Remix New Single

In the world of Swedish pop, 2010 was the year of Robyn. In 2011, it's Lykke Li's turn.

On March 1, Li will release her sophomore LP, Wounded Rhymes, via her LL Recordings. Before the album drops, she will be releasing the single "Get Some," which has already received the video treatment. Now, we've got word that the deluxe edition of the single will include remixes from Beck and the Beastie Boys' Mike D.

The single initially came out back in October, along with the B-side "Paris Blue." The deluxe edition will drop next Tuesday (December 14) on iTunes.

You will have to wait until then to hear the Beck remix, but you can check out Mike D's right now. It's streaming in the player below courtesy of The Fader. It doesn't deviate too far from the original in terms of structure, but it replaces the bass-heavy tribal groove with 8-bit beats and buzzy retro keyboards.

Once Wounded Rhymes is out, Lykke Li will hit the road on a lengthy world tour. See the schedule here. Since those dates were first announced, Lykke Li has announced one more Canadian show: May 21 in Montreal at Metropolis.
