Marc Maron, Emily Blunt and more will come together to pay respects to late filmmaker Lynn Shelton this evening for a tribute special.
Her Effortless Brilliance: A Celebration of Lynn Shelton Through Film and Music will air tonight at 9 p.m. ET through YouTube and will be available to stream through the platform afterwards. Viewers can tune in using the player below.
Blunt, Kaitlyn Dever, Rosemarie DeWitt, Mark and Jay Duplass, Jeff Garlin, Joshua Leonard, Sean Nelson, Michaela Watkins, and Reese Witherspoon are among the actors slated to speak. Musicians set to perform include Andrew Bird, Death Cab for Cutie's Ben Gibbard, Laura Veirs and more.
Her Effortless Brilliance was directed by Shelton's longtime friend Megan Griffiths, who produced the tribute alongside Mel Eslyn, the Duplass brothers and Adam Kersh.
"It has been really meaningful to me to work on this project," Griffiths said in a statement. "Lynn was one of my dearest friends and losing her has been leveling. It has given me comfort to focus on celebrating her life by bringing together all of these beautiful performances and hearing the heartfelt words of her many friends and collaborators. I hope it brings solace to her family and all those mourning this unfathomable loss."
Shelton passed away May 16 due to a previously unidentified blood disorder. The late director's team is also encouraging fans to donate to the Shelton/Seal Family Fund for Northwest School for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Children, or Seattle's Northwest Film Forum.
