M for Montreal's MARATHON is back and growing for its second iteration. The Sirius XM-sponsored programming will see Canadian and international artists perform across the city from November 16 to 19.
With more than 100 artists performing across 20 venues, the festivities kick off at the Belmont on the 16th, with Montreal artists Fernie, Odreii and dee holt performing at a public showcase with a DJ set to follow.
Club Soda will also host showcases between the 17th and 19th, with acts like Clay and Friends and Soran taking the stage before a rap night takes over the venue. Across the street from Club Soda, Café Cléopâtre will host its regular run of shows, with some surprise guests presented by Exclaim!
The Van Horne skatepark will also host the free event SHOW-FRETTE on the 18th, with Kiwi Jr., Lydia Képinski, Jesse Mac Cormack, Barry Paquin Roberge and more set to perform.
Closing out MARATHON on the 19th will be Toronto's Ducks Ltd. at Le Ministère, with Ping Pong Go providing support. The National will also be hosting a girl pop night in collaboration with MRG Live.
