Macaulay Culkin's cheesy joke may have passed its expiry date, since his pizza-themed Velvet Underground parody band the Pizza Underground have cancelled the remainder of their UK tour.
This news comes shortly after the former child star and his pizza pals were pelted with beer and booed off the stage in Nottingham. Although their "Exploding Pizza Inevitable" tour was due to run until June 7, it has now been cancelled outright.
The group made no attempt to explain the reason for the cancellation, so it's unknown whether the move has anything to do with aforementioned disastrous gig. The band announced the news with the following tweet:
Evidently this isn't the end of the road for the band, however. They added:
As far as we're aware, this cancellation only refers to the UK. It seems that the band are still due to play NXNE in Toronto in June.

sad that we had to cancel UK shows. Believe it or not we had fun! But all good things must end, and sometimes suddenly and w/o explanation.
