Earlier this week, we learned that Boogie Down Productions rapper KRS-One would be repping the South Bronx on the upcoming album from Pacific Northwest combo Macklemore & Ryan Lewis. Now, a stream of their This Unruly Mess I've Made team-up, "Buckshot," has gone live ahead of the album release. You can fire it up via your various players now.
Prepped alongside the mighty DJ Premier, the track wriggles out with a vintage boom bap, above which Macklemore twists his tongue around lines about working at a Subway and coming from the land of grunge and flannel. KRS-One likewise drop a few bars above the bed of beats and haunted Krzysztof Komeda samples.
"Buckshot" can be heard below, while the rest of This Unruly Mess I've Made touches down February 26. As previously reported, the record also features guest spots from Chance the Rapper, YG, Leon Bridges and more.
