Malevolent Creation

From the opening scream of "attack!" this is an intense and solid death metal release, from a band that continually gives us just that, yet often ends up neglected all too quickly. True, there is nothing on The Will To Kill to separate Malevolent Creation from other top notch death bands, but there is also nothing at all lacking in this album. Great death metal riffs, solid drums and aggressive vocals that don't get too cheesy, all delivered by way of a satisfying fast-to-faster tempo, and an all-around superb death metal onslaught. If we hadn't heard this sort of thing so many damn times, we'd be blown away. As is, it'll impress, then be filed away and sadly forgotten.
