Man Must Die

No Tolerance For Imperfection

With No Tolerance For Imperfection, the follow-up to 2007's The Human Condition, Glasgow, Scotland's Man Must Die return with a vengeance. The death/grind band display proficient songwriting skills and musicianship from beginning to end. The title track kicks things off with unorthodox time changes, vicious vocals, rapid double-bass and grinding guitar riffs and leads. "Gainsayer" is one of the most instrumentally adept tunes on No Tolerance For Imperfect, with death metal guitar crunch and strong vocals. With a Cattle Decapitation vibe, "Kill It Skin It Wear It" is a much darker tune, with much more intricate guitar work weaved into fast, grindcore-style time signatures. "It Comes in Threes" is an impressively original track that contains a lot of groove and chugging riffs despite its slower tempo, while "Hide the Knives" is as intense as the title suggests. The 11-song eardrum attack is an extreme and powerful effort.
