Mark Farina

Air Farina is the long anticipated debut album from Mark Farina, legendary hip-hop, funk, soul house DJ whose style is a coupling of Chicago and San Francisco sounds. This unique album is a literal musical journey with a flying theme. Each song is interrupted by a new lesson on flying, as explained by an animated flight attendant. The album leans toward a hardcore deep house/techno sound, but if that’s your flavour then you will be able to appreciate this piece of work. For a debut, it wouldn’t have been my choice to hit us up with a "transcontinental flight concept” album but clearly Farina is a trendsetter not a follower.
