After receiving a series of good-news updates about his chemotherapy treatment, Blink-182 bandleader Mark Hoppus has just announced that he is officially cancer-free.

Hoppus broke the news on Instagram today, writing:

Just saw my oncologist and I'm cancer free!!! Thank you God and universe and friends and family and everyone who sent support and kindness and love. Still have to get scanned every six months and it'll take me until the end of the year to get back to normal but today is an amazing day and I feel so blessed. Can I get a W for the chat?

The news comes just a few weeks after Tom DeLonge shared that he had spoken with Hoppus via text and confirmed that he had finished his last round of chemo.

In July, Hoppus revealed that he had been diagnosed with stage 4-A diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. He has been sharing hair loss selfies and appearing in Q&A Twitch livestreams ever since.
