Mark Ronson

"Daffodils" (ft. Tame Impala's Kevin Parker)

Production whiz Mark Ronson has leant his hip-hop-leaning soul sounds and timeless horn blasts to some of pop music's biggest names, but he'll soon try his hand at another solo record called Uptown Special. We've recently heard the Bruno Mars-assisted "Uptown Funk," and now he's back with another taste of the release.

"Daffodils" sees Ronson teaming up with Tame Impala frontman Kevin Parker, and fans of both acts will find plenty to dig into. There are Ronson's signature soul beats and some funky bass, but Parker's vocals are draped in the spacey psychedelics more often associated with his regular gig.

Listen to "Daffodils" below. Uptown Special is set to arrive on January 27.
