Marvel: Ultimate Alliance

Fulfilling the promise of their two stellar X-Men Legends RPGs comes Raven's expanded story involving almost every major and minor inhabitant of the Marvel Universe, with 20 playable heroes (including mutants, Avengers, Fantastic Four, Spidey, Silver Surfer, Elektra, and — sweet Christmas! — Luke Cage) and 140 characters overall. The bad guys are the Masters of Evil, boasting an admittedly silly '60s-era name but led by comic's coolest supervillain Dr. Doom and the producers raise the bar on boss battles by bringing in Galactus. It's still a basic dungeon-crawler but with interchangeable four-member teams, co-op play (online and off) and so many superpowers, it's also a fan-boy dream.
