Jazmine Sullivan

R&B songstress Jazmine Sullivan recently returned from her five-year hiatus with her latest album, Reality Show, and is now taking the set on a tour across North America. Gorguts

Technical death metal mainstays Gorguts will be headlining this Saturday (April 18) at the Nothing Is Heavy three-year anniversary showcase in Vancouver. Following the band's reformation in 2009, the group released their incredible comeback album, Colored Sands in 2013, incorporating new, dynamic elements into their already crushing sound. You can expect this weekend's set list to draw heavily from said album, but older favourites are also bound to be in the mix.

Caribou

Electronic producer Dan Snaith (a.k.a. Caribou) will be wrapping up his stretch of Canadian dates this week with one last show in Calgary. The tour is in support of his most recent release, Our Love, which features a number of fun, dance-y tracks that make for an exciting live show.

Leaf Rapids

Manitoba duo Leaf Rapids are taking their debut album, Lucky Stars on a stretch of dates across the Prairies. With lyrics inspired by the Canadian wilderness and layered vocal melodies backed by theremins, fiddles and banjos, Keri and Devin Latimer take a fresh approach to their brand of alternative country music.
