Matador Announces More <i>Brighten the Corners</i> Delux Redux Details

So remember how we told you that if you pre-order the deluxe redux of Pavement’s Brighten the Corners, you’d get some "very special” extras? Well, Matador has now announced what those extras will be, and they are indeed special.

As part of the label’s sixth Buy Early Get Now (BEGN) promotion, the forthcoming reissue will come with a vinyl LP of the long-lost Pavement Live album, which was originally scheduled for release in July 1998 but later shelved. This uber-rare record will only be pressed on wax and only be available to Brighten the Corners pre-orderers.

But beware, Matador tells us: "Because it will be difficult for us to manufacture just the right amount of bonus LPs, we reserve the right (a) to close BEGN in the few weeks before street date, or (b) ship participants who sign up late their package late. So get your order in as soon as possible so we can make sure you’re taken care of on street date.”

Along with Pavement Live, if you order the premium-priced BEGN version of the album (which hits shops November 18) from the Matador site or a participating retailer, you get a login that will give you:

On October 10: an instant stream of the album
On October 21: bonus track #1
November 4: bonus track #2
November 18 street date: album, Pavement Live LP and a free poster
