Halifax’s the Prospector’s Union didn’t bring out all their members for NXNE, but singer Matt Charlton did open the show on Thursday night at the Rivoli. He even shared a funny story now and then, one leading to why his next song was called "Flaming Death.” Lucky for him, his set didn’t go up in flames like his airplane almost did.
