After taking a trip to Dog City last year, Matt Mays will now bring listeners to his hometown of Dartmouth, NS, with a new live album and concert film.

Mays will share new live collection From Burnside with Love on February 12 through Sonic Records, while a concert film of the same name will premiere February 13 through a ticketed viewing event.

Recorded and filmed live in front of a studio audience at the Burnside Industrial Park, the 24-song set finds Mays and his band performing selections from across his career in "intimate, semi-unplugged" fashion. You can get a feel for the evening by taking in a video for set opener "Downtown" below.

"It was an emotional show for me being in my hometown and taking all these little trips back in time through song." Mays reflected in a statement. "I'm very proud of what we did, and I'm really happy we get to share it with you."

Mays' band features Adam Baldwin (guitar, vocals), Serge Samson (bass guitar), Damien Moynihan (drums), Leith Fleming-Smith (piano), Kendel Carson (fiddle, vocals) and Asa Brosius (pedal steel, dobro, banjo).

From Burnside with Love's concert film was directed by Joel Stewart. Further details for the ticketed viewing event can be found here, where you'll also find info about a limited triple-LP vinyl pressing of the album.
